THE PREMISE
After a heist goes awry, a trio of would be thieves find themselves holed up in an old Military bunker having to deal with their own secrets, deception and manipulation in order to survive...THE LAST DAY
THE STORY BEHIND THE FILM
The Filmmaker and the Writer are both upcoming voices, who believe that actions speak louder than words; the film industry is a difficult one to crack as everyone wants to be a part of show business. So, after many discussions, a few extras roles and a couple of mini movies, the Director, M. D. Knight came up with an idea, initially for a winter project, something small five minutes in length, but also something close to a genre he adored, horror.
In August 2013 after a quick talk with an eager screenplay writer, Ritchie Johnston, a story soon came together and what was a five minute project turned into a 1st draft consisting of 61 pages and an elated feeling that this is something bigger than what we first imagined.
Fast forward to January 2014, another draft of the movie completed, this time loaded with 98 pages of pure adrenaline pumping fear, revenge, lies and a secret that will blow your mind. With this draft, we decided that now was the time to take it to the next step and develop something new, something exciting and a challenge that will begin to define us as a film maker and screenplay writer. The stakes have never been higher, because this isn't just for us, this movie is for the guy (or gal) who dares to have a dream and take it that one step further.....
