Dead Air - Proof of Concept Horror Comedy

I just kicked off my Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for my next Horror Comedy called Dead Air.

We have a cracking cast and crew, including Kate Marie Davis (from Escape from Cannibal Farm), Stacy Hart (from Get Real), Charlie Bond (from Strippers Vs Werewolves), Johanna Stanton (from Nightmare Box), James Hamer-Morton (from My Bloody Banjo) and Dan Palmer (from Stalled). We still have lots more involvment to announce.

Please help by either pledging or sharing or both!

We didn't make our 20k via Kickstarter, so got no funding at all. So we've gone back to the drawing board, and come up with a new plan of attack on another platform. Go check us out here - https://igg.me/at/DeadAirMovie

Our first crowd funder went well and we managed to get the funds to shoot this film! We shot the film in September this year and are now crowd funding to finish this darn film! It's going to be amazing!

Fraught, it looks like people pledged more money on your 1st campaign.
In retrospect, do you think you would've picked the usual option on Kickstarter instead of the "all or nothing" route?

We did originally go down the Kickstarter all or nothing route, but fell 4k short of our target. Going down the IndieGoGo route is risky, but we felt it was worth the effort, especially with all the talent we have involved. :-)

My mistake. I didn't know Kickstarter was exclusively all or nothing.
Why is the IndieGoGo route risky?

We chose the flexible funding route... which means that whatever money is pledged, you get. So you have to ensure that regardless of the amount that you raise, you can make the product and provide the perks! We got through the first indiegogo campaign ahead of target which is amazing! We just need to be similarly lucky this time. :-)
