Liberty Lab for Filmmakers
Taliesin Nexus is thrilled to announce the opening of Liberty Lab for Filmmakers! Ten successful applicants will be divided into teams of two, and each team will receive a $10,000 production budget to write, shoot, and edit a short film or web series in 100 days while being mentored by Hollywood professionals. Each film must explore some aspect of liberty in a creative way. Applications are being accepted until May 15.
Internship program
One of the best ways to break into Hollywood is to work as an intern at a production company. Taliesin Nexus's Hollywood Internship Program places qualified applicants in internships at leading production companies, working for movers and shakers in the industry, and we help you cover your living and travel expenses. Each internship is located in LA and lasts for three months. Apply today!
Workshop
Taliesin Nexus's Filmmakers Workshop is a three-day conference that connects talented young filmmakers with Hollywood industry veterans. Speakers include successful writers, producers, directors, and other professionals from film and television. Sessions feature practical advice and include such topics as How to Pitch Your Idea, How to Land a Job on a TV Writing Staff, and How to Fund an Independent Film. Tuition, room, and board is free for participants! Applications are now open.
