Street location needed for guerilla car scene

Shooting a short that takes place in a moving car. I'm looking for a street location that I can film on without being in the way of others. Does anyone know of any low key/ seldom used streets in the Los Angeles area (where I won't get mugged!)

There are a lot of them. Most residential streets have little
traffic during the middle of the day. Most industrial streets
have little traffic early in the morning.

Downtown is wasteland on weekends. Check out Burbank,
Glendale, East Pasadena, La Crasenta.

Contact some districts to see if you can get a road closed. I ma not sure on the exact avenues to go to get this done since i don't live in america. Try to contact areas that are not normally filmed in since it is likely they will cost nothing or less to use.

You just gotta scout around. Safety in numbers helps. Pull it off and you'll save a bundle by not having to pay for permits, fees and mandatory off duty Police presence.

I once shot (with a permit) behind Box City on Sherman Way in Van Nuys. There's a grungy alley back there if that's what you need. It was very quiet at night there.
