60d shoot in 4:3?

Hey guys

Im trying to shoot a film noir parody and would like it shot in 4:3. I can't seem to change the aspect ratio on my 60d to 4:3? Does the 60d not do that? And if so what kind of camera do I need to shoot in 4:3? (sorry if this is a really stupid question)

The 60D can't do that.
What you can do, however (at your own risk) is install Magic Lantarn. It allows you to add your own markers/overlay, so you can make a photoshop(?) file with 2 vertical lines, so you can frame for 4:3 while shooting HD. In post you can either crop it or add black borders to your edit.

Gaffer's tape is all you need. Just a few centimeters worth. Tape over the parts of the screen that would not be seen in 4:3. Shoot it in 16:9 and then apply crop in post. Easy-peezy, pumpkin-squeezy!
