Just Announced: PARTICIPANT MEDIA & PIVOT TEAM WITH THE NYTVF for WORKS FOR PROGRESS

Works for Progress Development Initiative Accepting Scripts, Evolving Works, and Produced Pilots/Series for Consideration; Submission Period Opens August 29

Academy Award-winning Participant Media and its television network, Pivot, are teaming with the New York Television Festival for a next-generation artist program – Works for Progress – designed to engage and motivate indie television and digital artists to create TV and digital series concepts that inspire social change through episodic storytelling.

The comprehensive creative program is open to completed projects and works-in-progress from scripted, documentary, and digital creators across the spectrum and is seeking produced pilots and series, scripts, and documentary series/sizzle reels for consideration.

To submit to the initiative, content creators and writers must submit a

Creator/Project Mission Statement + Current C.V., Series Overview, and their project in one of the following formats:
A produced pilot and/or web series (up to 30 minutes)
OR
A pilot episode script excerpt (up to twenty (20) pages for a half-hour program or forty (40) pages for an hour program)
OR
A produced work-in-progress (e.g. sizzle reel, trailer, doc series footage, scene example, etc. minimum of six (6) minutes)


It's FREE to submit to Works for Progress, and the digital submission platform will be open from August 29, 2016 to September 8, 2016.
