2015 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival

Great Lakes International Shorts Festival has officially opened its Call for Entries for the 2015 Festival, which will be showcasing the best works of emerging and veteran filmmakers.

If there is anything as universal as the ageless storytelling of motion pictures, it’s the music that makes up life’s soundtrack.

The 2015 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival shall accept Music Videos from around the world of cross-continent and cross-genre productions. We shall accept Music Videos of all genres from Pop, Punk, Rock, Alt-Country, Country-Western, Folk, Reggae, Hip-Hop to Electronica, Jazz, Blues, Zydeco, Industrial, Metal, Hardcore, Gothic, Karaoke, Avant-Garde, World Music, and Experimental.

The 2015 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival will accept all forms of Religious, Christian, and Spiritual films including African, African-American, GLBT, Black, Hispanic, Islamic, Latino, Native/Aboriginal and student films from the United States and around the world.

The Total Run-Time of All Films in Any Genre Should Be No More Than 50mins

Showcasing the best films of the 2015 season from around the world, the Great Lakes International Shorts Festival will take place online November 7th thru November 14th 2015.

Much like the digital technology that has swept independent film festivals throughout the world since the early 2000s, for many reasons the virtual theater is quickly becoming the first, best choice for festivals, and the new home of Independent film screenings worldwide.

Today, countless other festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival are now moving to the world wide web as they are screening films online to give exposure to Filmmaker’s projects, utilizing the virtual theatre experience for the maximum benefit of the Filmmaker.

The Great Lakes International Shorts Festival’s virtual theater platform offers filmmakers not only the exposure to the world that they deserve, but does so keeping the integrity of the film and the filmmaker’s trust always fully intact with the most secure screening platform in existence in the world today.

With State-Of-The-Art technologies that are revolutionizing independent film presentations throughout the world, The Great Lakes International Shorts Festival is changing the face of film festivals worldwide…
