Easilly explained. It`s the Silurians getting their own back for all the troubles we`ve caused them in the past. Someone give the Doctor a shout and he`ll come and sort them out.

I`m afraid that scenario has already been used on tv though.

If I was in Norway I`d give the Troll Hunter the heads up about this.
