Yet another recommendation plea, I'm afraid. I've recently moved over to jourmalism and documentary making, and this is somewhere my experience with cameras isn't too hot, mainly because there's a lot more movement involved, less time to set up focus, etc. Relying on DSLR is a bit of a no-no for a primary camera. Think, following street protests, and so on.
So, I'm looking for a camera UNDER £2000, preferably closer to £1000, which:
Is broadcast quality, so will have UHD capability at the minimum. 4K is preferable.
Has at least one XLR input.
Suitable for "run and gun" shooting.
Fast focussing.
Best low light capabilities in the price range.
Does NOT require interchangable lenses (more weight to be carrying around).
Can shoot in both 50p and 60p at 1080.
Thanks in advance,
Joel
