Camera suggestions/ opinions

Hello everyone.

I've got some money and I was thinking about buying a dslr for doing some small commercials, web show and short films/documentaries. Recently I saw the Pentax K3 and I loved its specs, but while searching for reviews and informations I noticed that it is a very good camera for photos and it has some very good film making aspects, but it needs a little bit more to go better against cameras like canon or panasonic that are more established in the film making area... Sadly I really liked the K3 :/

Anyway, I was thinking for a camera like the canon 70d. It has some great specs but magic lantern doesn't suport (YET, I want to believe that it will soon) the new model and I was a little concerned about it. I think that I will go with this one. What do you guys think, should I get the Canon 70D?

I'll probably be the only one to suggest it, but I'll suggest the Canon 60D. A crop sensor, but it has manual audio controls and a swivel LCD screen (which coming from a prosumer camera background I found useful.) Decently priced as well.

Hi The Skull M00nkey - Sadly, the 70D has no headphone jack, no 1080/50p, its viewfinder is blanked out by the mirror when you switch to live view (video) mode and it generates moire that looks like this on patterned objects:

If you want a headphone jack, 1080/50p, a viewfinder that works and moire-resistance, you may want to take a look at the Panasonic GH3.

Here is what this camera can do:

You can get this camera via eBay.it for around 1000€

Hope this is helpful!
