Firewire to USB Adapter

I need to find a Firewire to USB adaptor for a Canon XM2 if there is such a thing, i've been searching the web for a bit but i'm not sure if any of them will work so i thought who better to ask than you guys.

Any help you can give me would be amazing

What he said. That'd be like trying to get a coaxial to DSL converter -- different thing, alltogether. I'm afraid it does not exist.

I'm assuming you have a USB port, but need firewire? You'll need a firewire card. They're inexpensive (maybe $40) and easy to install. I don't know about your city, but in mine, you cannot find one for sale, in the entire city. About a year ago, I needed one, and had to purchase online.
