Canon GL2

I have a chance to get a Canon GL2 for a really good price but I was wondering how good it's quality is. Does anyone have one or know much about them? Is the quality good enough for festivals and what not?

If you're getting it at a good price go for it.
And yes for festivals and documentary shooting it's a great camera.
Plus it has a pretty good lense on it better than the Sony and Panasonic's
but it's not the best in low light situations if that's a factor.
But all around it a good camera if you're getting it for under $2.400 if not
look into the Sony VX2000 about the same price or Panasonic DVX100 24p a little more for the Panasonic about $1.000 more.
But see if you can try it out first to see if it's what you're looking for also
go to Canon's website and check the spects and check Sony and Panasonic for their's.
