What to know about renting home for film

I am looking to rent out my home for movies. I have rented locations as a filmmaker but never as a renter.

So what should concern me? Any tips with details would be helpful. The most obvious thing I can think of is that the shoot should be insured with worker's comp insurance.

What is kind of a going rate for an ordinary 2,000 square foot home? $1,000 a day maybe? And what should I charge for prep days / warp-up days?

The shoot should be insured for EVERYTHING. Workman's comp
protects the employer not the property owner. Make sure the
production has full liability insurance.

Sure, you might be able to get a grand a day. Less for smaller
shows, more for bigger ones, even more for commercials. A prep
day and a wrap day should be hourly - if you're allowing 12 hours
for a grand break that down to an hourly and charge that.
