ISA Connect - Database for screenwriters, Has anybody heard of it?

Hi,

I have come across this site where it states it will help include your work in the database for agents, producers, directors etc to look at your screenplays. I just want to know has anybody used this service? Is it recommended that I use it? $10 a month or $100 a year.

Not familiar with it, but I'd generally be skeptical of any service that promises to get you 'closer to your dream' for a fee.

If you look at their "success stories" section, the vast majority of the success stories are people winning or placing in screenwriting contests. The site also has a huge database of contests, and seems to act in much the same capacity as withoutabox in terms of facilitating entry to these contests (and likely taking a cut of the entry fee).

I don't see anything on the site, or after a quick search for reviews online, that would suggest it's anything more than another site/service taking advantage of people's hopes and dreams to extract a little money from them.
