In search of a composer for my next feature film "The Campground: The Requel" It is a slasher/thriller that will run around 90-110 minutes.
I am the Director (Roman Jossart) and i have a very strong vision as to what i want for the score. This will be a dark film. I have a budget of $500 for who ever scores. I know this is not a lot but this is not a big budget film so if $500 is a turn off to you please don't waste yours and my time by trying to negotiate.
Like i stated above i have a very strong vision as to what i want score wise. The link below was the big influence i used while writing the script. I am very much looking for something in the same ballpark as this score. Something dark and industrial. I love piano and strings. I'm also a big fan of drums. Percussion can really drive suspense. I also have other audio tracks that helped influence this film that i would gladly send through email.

This film is a remake/revisioning of my original film from 2013 "The Campground". After looking back on the film i was very dissatisfied with it and knew i could do better. Now that my company has grown and we have grown as filmmakers I'm ready to return and make this film. Rather than making a sequel like originally planned this summer we have decided to remake the first film AND film the sequel and release it as one film, hence the title "The Requel". That being said their was 3 notes from the first film that were played around the time the killer was around similar to the "Cha cha cha ha ha ha" in the Friday the 13th films. I would like those notes reused in the new score so i can have some sort of connection to the first film.
We begin filming this May and will wrap the beginning of July. I plan to have the film edited for scoring by end of August or sooner. I would like a November premiere but i understand scoring like editing is not an overnight process.
So to sum up what all is in it for you, $500, IMDb credit, a film that will be in the festival circuits and DVD release, Paid hotel in city of Premiere but we will NOT provide airfare or travel. Premiere will be in Greendale Indiana 25 min outside of Cincinnati Ohio.
