On a side note, it infuriates me when people knock on Spielberg and call him a "hack". They seem to forget he is one of the most influential, game-changing and visionary directors of all time.

Whoever made such a statement clearly knows nothing whatsoever about film history. Whether one appreciates his movies or not, there is no disputing the fact that he is one of the most extraordinarily creative, diverse and influential filmmakers in the history of the medium -- and that's without even mentioning successful.
