Commercial shot on Sony HVR-V1U HDV

I thought the text effects were pretty neat but I've got to say that the picture quality (whilst not terrible) wasn't the thing that I'd be shouting about... but I still liked 'em.

I keep on thinking that the shot looked amatur but then goes on to brag that it is a major production company that millions watch. Just a thought it did not add up to me.

First the shot was on a hand held camera that was shaky and probably would have been better on a tripod. Next the picture does not have any camera shot variations to give it more of a professional feel. Next the picture quality and the too far out zoom on the faces of the cast give it a more amatur look. Those are my first thougths.

The animated stuff looked great and really polished and the sound for the special effects were great but the audio for the actors lacked the same quality it also added to the amatur qualities that I pointed out. Good attempt for a begininer but not for a production company that millions watch.
