I am new to filming but I have done quite a lot of photography. I am also an avid 4WD'er and would like to start filming and creating short "how to" vids for my website and possibly DVD. I don't have much by way of cameras only a basic JVC Everio and the editing software that came with it. This doesn't look like it would be the best for what I need.
So, my question's are:
what basic equipment would I need to shoot on location, ie mics, cameras, editing programs, lights if any etc?
How do I make an animated intro?
Music, do you need an license to use it?
If there is anything else that I should take into consideration please advise me so.
If anyone on here has done something similar, can you please share with me some tips and advice as I am also aware of IP so just some mentoring is all I need not your business plan
