Finished 1st Screenplay - Need Director

I recently completed my first feature-length screenplay and am now seeking a filmmaker interested in taking on the project. The script is 92 pages in length and is titled SECOND LIFE, a drama with a hint of comedy. The screenplay is copyright protected and registered with WGA.

Synopsis: Jason is a recovering alcoholic. After losing his wife, he struggles to make a better life for himself. He meets a kindred spirit and falls in love, but tragedy once again threatens to destroy his second chance in life.

I would love the film to be made locally (Saint Louis) but realize the market here is thin. So, I am putting SECOND LIFE out there to any producer and/or director that may be interested in this project. For more info, or to arrange a reading, please reply to this post.
 
I am interested in Directing this and think I could be an Ideal Candidate. I have thus far Directed A Short Echo of Me and A feature Visitor From Else Where as well as all my student work. I could also Produce that is I can crew you up locally and get you all the resources you need. I would have a few Questions.

1. Are you funded? If so what sort of budget are we looking at?
2. What do you see a director doing since you wrote the screen play how much control do you want over the directors shot choices etc.
3. Are you dead Set on St Louis - I am located in Chicago this is a 6 hour drive but would love to shoot in St. Lu however it would hamper my ability to garner you crew - Depending on the budget.
