Movie without actors?

Well... In theory yes.
But I imagine it would be INCREDIBLY difficult.
Do you have an idea to go with this (very ambitious) question, or are you just wondering if people think it's possible?

yes. You can convey a mood using nothing but location, movement and sound... adding common elements can help personify the images... adding common non-human subjects can help tell a story about that object.

There are movies like BARAKA and the KOYAANASQATSI trilogy that use mostly landscapes and music. The people in them are not actors, but rather part of the environment.

I just had a movie without actors accepted to a festival! REAL short, about a minute and a half. But I was able to tell my story without the need for actors.

Ha ha! I've seen a few of those, which are some of Youtube's highest rated videos of all time. Yes, people act the voices for those characters. I think it's kind of funny seeing Johnny Depp's name headline a cartoon, even though you don't see him.

A documentary could work. How about that winter snow in new york city video that came out as an example.
