Shooting for custom screen sizes

I have been asked to make a film as part of a theatre show.

It will be projected onto a custom screen (9mx3m) so will need to be 3600 1200 or possibly 1920 x 640

I am unsure the best way to do this and wondered if anyone had any advice or tips for shooting and editing something at this size.

Thanks Tom

I'm no expert, but if you have a good sized screen to see what you're shooting, maybe you could crop the screen with some acetate that has the 3:1 ratio cut out of it.
