Music video: Louis Barabbas 'Pulling The Strings'

Hi,

so I was contacted on a Tuesday afternoon about doing a music video for one of the songs from Louis Barabbas's new musical 'Jocasta: a Musical Tragedy'.

I said 'sure' and it turned out he wanted to do it the next day. We ended up with 3 hours to use a theatre space. It was then edited the same night with a couple of tweaks the night after.

Proud to present 'Pulling the Strings'.

(feedback is always welcome)

Here's a link to the musical. Its fab.

Not too bad for a quickie, in fact, it turned out real good.
Nice work on the editing!

Cheers. Glad you liked it!

Things are made easy when the talent is up for owt. I didn't let him rest and those boots are heavy.

Seriously, check out the rest of the material on that spotify link or here:https://soundcloud.com/jocastamusical

Thank you for the link Paul! Sounds like an interesting musical at first glance. Will definitely give it a proper listen.
And props to Louis! He is a great performer, very "animated".

Did you shoot that with only one camera?

It's got something for everyone. Bit of jazz, proper showtunes and a guy who sounds like a scottish Lemmy!

I've done 3 vids with him now. He's without a doubt my favourite performer to film. Yeah, we shot it one camera. 5d mkii.
