Often, there are quite a few members viewing the forums, but few posts. I'd love it if there was a place here for real-time chat among us filmmakers.

agreed. It can feel a little like shouting a dark cave. Unless I post boring stuff. Then, I 'll get my coat.

Yea... why don't we have a chat? There are so many chat plug-ins for forums...

It's possible the user had 2 accounts which is not permitted and I merged two accounts and it kept one of the names. It happens time to time when people try to bump up their posts etc. and it not a recommended way.

There's implications in changing usernames where old posts that were quoted still retain the old username, members don't know who you are, etc. and it is not something we want to allow at this time. In the future perhaps we will have a better solution, as we do plan to use a new platform. Thanks!
