What is a good structure for rehearsals?

Hey guys, I just have to get these rehearsal-questions out of me.

I know this is when I get dry/abstract responses “be adaptable, do what works best for you, clear communication, establish trust” and that’s because these are all of the right answers. But I’m wondering about specifics and concrete actions that work best for you. In the end, I won’t be following a rigid process, but I like the idea of having an imagined process that I can break from and not follow, as weird as that sounds. I want to go into rehearsal with a plan, whether or not I continue with it.

For instance: would it work to meet everyone/socialize, talk about the story a bit, do a cold reading, then work beat by beat, making notes of false-points, then thank everyone and leave? (while this sounds efficient to me, maybe it would bore the actors?)

If this question is really unbearably against your principles, maybe you could give me an example of an efficient rehearsal you have done? (what you started with, what the actors did, how you reacted, how long you worked on it, etc. etc.)

Thanks :)
