ok so im made cardboard costumes for an upcoming video i'm going to do and i need to figure out whats the best paint to use, they are just regular cardboard boxes from my dads work that i cut and what not into the costume. I was reading either acrylic or spray paint but i dont know which would be best. any help is appreciated!

If you have a little extra money spray paint one box and hand paint acrylics on another. Then shoot in a few different light situations to see which look you like best. Also experiment with gloss vs. matte, etc.
*** I don't know what your script is, but maybe the "sprays" don't like the "acrys".
That would be my suggestion, peter. Try both options, shoot some
footage under different lighting conditions, do a little editing, maybe
some color correction and see what works best for YOU in YOUR situation.
Post your test without telling us which is which and we can offer opinions
on the finished look.
