Dollys are overpriced, 600 lb pains in the ass that take forever to set up, not to mention pick up a day in advance with all of the paper work and insurance bull shit. If you have to carry a dolly up a flight of stairs then good f*cking luck! Better to avoid spending 45 minutes tearing it down, putting it back together, then another 45 minutes tearing it down and putting it back together again.

If you can work around a dreaded dolly then more power to you. Wheelchairs work pretty good too.

I'm from Bulgaria and it seems that I can't find any of these things around my city.


Any ideas what stores shall I look for ? I'm shooting a short film and I need it fast.

Maybe some furniture stores? But your best bet is buying online.
