Sound Devices USBPre

Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about using Sound Devices USBPre as an audio interface for a film shoot? Also, do you have any suggestions in terms of workflow i.e. boom mic, sound devices mixer, laptop?

Just want to get some feedback as I think this mixer will improve my sound quality considerably.

Cheers

I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but I've heard good things about it. Just keep in mind that the USBPre is intended to be a computer interface and is not really aimed at field work. If you want a mixer for production sound you may want to check out the Sound Devices MixPre-D.
