Caution Amazing film locations- using nature

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone on this forum films/ filmed in South Australia.
If so, where did you film and what oppurtunities does the south australian landscape give?
I am playing around with some ideas that include using the natural landscape (mainly because of its beuty and uniqueness) of south australia. such as how wolf creek was based in the australian outback.
i am interested in this because it will give me some great and impressive shots without the need for expensive sets or lighting (as i will be using natural lighting). What are your ideas on this? Advice? Tips?

Any help, experience or advice would be greatly appreciated, even if you are in another part of the world, how do you use the natural landscape to your advantage? can you? doers it work?

I filmed an intricate heist sequence in South Australia, in their Capitol Square, complete with helicopters and spy planes, not to mention alternating action with the hero running through the streets.

In a dream I had.

I've only been to South Australia once but spent the best part of a week touring around.

There is a lot of diversity. The hills and wine region are pretty lush but if you go further north west towards Renmark, it gets very flat and desert like. Useful if you are looking for an arid, desolate setting.

Good luck with your shooting.
