Grading Step by Step article -- very informative!

It's only one specific image and one specific look, but shows how a pro goes about a quick grade step by step.

Thanks for the share, but I didn't really find it impressive.

Here is also another tutorial about color grading: http://vimeo.com/videoschool/lesson/...lor-correction

Another example

Aaron here (the Aaron from the website),
I'm glad you found that post useful! If you want to go a little deeper, I did a series of posts on one shot going through a much more involved process that's a better example of the process that pro colorists go through for major work:

Part 1 (making the look):
http://aaronwilliams.tv/2011/01/colorist-tip-15/

Part 2 (fixing distractions):
http://aaronwilliams.tv/2011/01/colorist-tip-29/

Part 3 (focusing attention on the subject):
http://aaronwilliams.tv/2011/01/colorist-tip-30/

Part 4 (enhancing/making the subject look better):
http://aaronwilliams.tv/2011/01/colorist-tip-31/

Hope fully you got a lot out of my site. I've got several look/grade breakdowns on there that go through a step-by-step process, as well as a bunch of other technique and process tips. If you ever have any questions feel free to shoot them my way!
