NYTimes: "Anatomy of a Scene" articles

Some of these are cooler than others.

Didn't know if any of you enjoyed their admittedly limited utility, (we do tend to be rather specific in our own filmmaking inquiries).

Maybe just a diversion, really.

IFC (the Independent Film Channel) used to air a show called ANATOMY OF A SCENE that interviewed everyone from the screenwriter to the set to the edit of one scene from a bunch of movies. That show rocked and the episodes were almost always an extra on the DVD.

When DVD's eventually die out like VHS tapes of yore I'm really gonna miss the extras.
And subtitles.
It's amazing what mumbled off camera gibberish you miss without subtitles.
