Remote Video Editing

Hi,

I've been looking in to elance.com, etc as a way to get more gigs editing to build my portfolio so I can get more local and legit jobs from bigger clients.

I notice theres tons of editing jobs on there and I'm just wondering how one would go about getting all the files and sending them back, etc... I mean HD video can take a LOT of space even for a very small project, its not like you can email it or something...How do people accomplish this without physically handing off the files or fedex-ing hard drives, etc...?

Shhhhh! The less people we tell about it, the less competition we have!

Anyway, what SinEater said. External HD, FedEx seems like the best way, to me.
