I listen to all genre, but I'd really like some good indie music...rock is preferable.

Download the "Best of Phil Hendrie" podcast - it's free, and hilarious.

Also, PM'd you a link, to download a ridiculously bad song.

Bon Iver
Tokyo Police Club
Foals
The Cribs
Black Kids
Editors
The Fashion
Iglu and Hartley
Jamie T
Josh Pyke
New Young Pony Club
Sparkadia

^^^Are all top-notch, reasonably, new-to-the-scene indie Acts.

I also Recommend you downloading Girl Talk's Feed the Animals. Best Mish Mash I've ever heard, excellent live performance, and boy does he know how to work the crowd with just two Macs

The doors. They have many songs that would be great for a road trip. Their music is like blues and Rock combined.
Something like LA Woman would be great.
