Recently, I started a FB conversation with some filmmaker friends (some of whom I met here), on the subject of the theater phrase "Break a Leg". That phrase doesn't really translate to filmmaking, and we don't have one of our own. I'm of the opinion that we should fix that.
We bounced a few ideas around, and though we never reached a consensus, I'm personally a fan of "Smash the Wall", meaning that you need to go out and smash that fourth wall so that you can punch the audience in the gut!
Your thoughts? Is that a keeper? Any other ideas?
