welp, i started shooting my first roll on my k3, all was going well, ive shot about 1/3 of the film. When i changed the fps from 24 up to 32, it jammed. I fiddled a little bit and got it to run a little bit more but it didnt sound right, and then it totally froze up again. So my question is...

thanks again for the help, and ive got one more question while im at it. How do i know what ASA i shoudl set my lightmeter to? ive been told its 25 with the K40 ill be shooting on, but im not sure where that number comes from?

well, im looking for a 85 filter to shoot my k40 in daylight. Ive found them on b and h for $50 and up. Does anyone know of a cheaper place i should look? Or is this the going rate?

wow, that was super informative, thanks a lot widescreen and ive got one more question, im not sure if i want to get the film telecined, so if i just get it send back to me regularly so i can watch it on a projector, will i be able to later send that out for telecine if i decide i want it? or...

alright, the film is CAT # 140 2494 like you said, but it says on there "open only in total darkness", which scares me as far as opening it up in "subdued light" to load it, someone tell me im freakin out and that its ok to open it, haha

i called them up a few days ago with the same question. It was 32 i believe, but they told me i wouldnt get it for about 3 weeks because they dont keep it in stock? So i ended up ordering it from dwaynes, it was 38 but i got free shipping so it evened out i guess. I mailed out my order form...

heres some pics, i ended up usin a penny, some elctical tape and cardboard. It runs great and everything functions properly now.

oh ok, thanks a lot for the help, one more thing, when you say a wire connecting the stack at one end. Do you mean from the two little springs in the back of the battery compartment to the end of the batteries?

Well i just bought this camera off of ebay and when i got it the battery case is missing. It is a small case that you put the 4 batteries in and then slide that into the cam. Does anyone know anyway i could maybe get it to run with just the 4 batteries in the cam without the case, or anywhere...
