I have a question. When you do motion blur for a really fast movement, do you make the blur frame at 50% opacity? Also, do you make the blur frame for before or after the key frame or both?

I'm actually not trained in filmmaking, animation or graphic design but I woke up one morning and this story was just bursting out of me. I can't stop obsessing about this idea, so it felt really good after finally making this. I would really appreciate feedback of technical or narrative stuff...
