I checked both the Liverpool and Manchester "Shooters In The Pub" facebook pages, and it appears both are no longer running. I'll have to check out Shooting People.

Is a laptop an absolute necessity? I assumed you'll be editing on field hence the laptop? If that's not the case, with the money you would spend on that laptop, you could build a very good PC.

Is Shooting People worth the subscription fee?

I was wondering if anyone on here lives in the Liverpool or the North West of the UK. I came to the horrible realisation that I don't have any friends that are as passionate about film as I. Whether you're wanting to watch some films together or make some shorts. Show yourself.

There isn't a right or wrong answer. You could get what you wanted after 1 shot or after 100. It depends on you as the director.

It depends on the scene. Is it just being rolled or smoked aswell? I've used Oregano before, which is a herb used in cooking. It can be found at any supermarket.

I think its around the 3 hour mark, but it flies by. It's such a beautiful film.

As long as Gravity doesn't win everything I'm happy.
