Hi all, I have the opportunity of buying the v1p at a very reasonable price. My only concern is that it records on HDV tape rather than a SD card. I am new to the camera world... I would like to know just how difficult it is to upload HDV to my laptop... Will I need further equipment? Thanks...

Hi all, I am new here and this is my first post :) I am planning on making a low budget horror movie with a couple of friends of mine. I am looking into buying a video camera but with all the choice out there I have no idea what would best suit me. My budget is around the 500 euro mark...
