The Samyang's are all full frame lenses, except a few such as the 8mm fisheye and some micro four thirds lenses they do. So no problem there. By the way the Blackmagic URSA isn't full frame(if that's what you meant with your last line), it's super 35mm(roughly the same as APSC dslrs).

Honestly, the 70d offers very very little improvements on the t3i. In terms of video image quality you will find almost zero improvements. The cameras Ironfilm recommended or the blackmagic pocket camera with an EF mount speedbooster would be better in my opinion, you can still use your old lenses.

Anyone used this lens? The IS version is double the price. Is the IS worth it, considering it will be mostly used for video? Can you ever hand hold the IS lens and get steady shots?
