    SWAMPLAND (teaser) needs help!

Hey everyone! I recently put up a Kickstarter page for my next upcoming film, Swampland. I need help spreading the word about the project, so I can successfully meet my pledged goal of $2,000. If you want to donate, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also asking that if you visit my Kickstarter...

    watch Wild Runs the Heart

When I wrote the script for this short, I won a screenwriting contest to work with the writer of Nicolas Roeg's Bad Timing: A Sensual Obsession, Yale Udoff. I've been editing ever since I've gotten my footage back from the processing lab. I hope you guys enjoy, and leave me some feedback...

watch Wild Runs the Heart (TEASER)

Check out this teaser I put together for my next upcoming short. Everything was shot on the Aaton XTR on 16mm color negative stock, then converted to S16 in post. Hope you enjoy! https://vimeo.com/39727688

    I need some special effects!

I wish I could pay, but I'm a student working on a project of my own, and I barely have enough money for rent.

    I need some special effects!

Yeah I'm looking for more of a 3D animation. I don't want it to look cheesy, but then again, I'm not sure how intricate of an animation I could get for free.

    I need some special effects!

I'm working on a neo-noir short, a sequel to my original "Shadow of the Crow." In one of the scenes, I need a CGI wasp to fly out of the mouth of a dead body. Then I need another scene like that, but it flies into a jar. I don't know how simple or complex that is because I know nothing of...

    watch I Am Fragile

Here is a trailer for my upcoming short film about identity and the way we appear to other people. http://vimeo.com/32599250

    watch Flare Gun

Thanks, that was a insect eye filter over clouds with a bunch of other filters. I think I used vectorize color or something.

    watch Flare Gun

Thanks a lot man! It took me about 8 weeks to do that. I messed with a ton of filters to try to make my render objects look less noticeable.

    watch Flare Gun

This is an abstract animation I made entirely in FCP 7 and Soundtrack Pro. I hope someone enjoys the amount of time I put into this. http://vimeo.com/31571307

watch Shadow of the Crow (Neo-noir short)

Thanks a lot man! Yeah I had a lot of trouble with the DSLR, especially when portraying a noir-style film with harsh shadows, but I think the end product came out very nicely in the amount of time spent on it. I agree that I should've used a tri-pod, but mine was broken at the time, so I had to...

watch Shadow of the Crow (Neo-noir short)

I helped my friend out with a school project. Made in less than a week. Shot entirely on the Canon T2i. Give me some feedback! http://vimeo.com/24126171

    watch 16mm B&W Reversal film

Yeah it was almost $200 just to process it, which is a bummer because it looks so gorgeous. I think I'll work on some voice-over dialogue to add in to keep the audience interested.

    watch 16mm B&W Reversal film

Thanks man. Yeah I after I transferred the film to miniDV, the overall footage became darker. It was for a class and it had to be a silent narrative, so I didn't add any VO. I'm still debating if I should add any in or not. But thanks for the feedback!

    watch 16mm B&W Reversal film

Thanks a lot man! I actually didn't have much of a problem lighting the scenes because I knew exactly how it would turn out based on my f/stops. The thing that made everything darker was the telecine transfer from film to miniDV. Since I had half of my shots outside and half indoors, the...

watch "Late" - my first short film

I really liked the dialogue. Very poetic. I also liked the camera following behind the main character, giving it a Aronofsky-type feel. Nice work.

    watch 16mm B&W Reversal film

Here is my first 16mm Reversal silent narrative shot on the Bolex using 10, 25, and 75mm lenses. The budget only included processing fees in the lab. Let me know what you think! http://vimeo.com/19306972
