    Do feature-film scripts get critiqued?

Hi, all. :) Is it a common practice for the screenplays of high-budget feature films to be edited by anyone other than the people way on top? For example, is there a process of having people pick apart line-by-line issues, with a red pen, and/or running a screenplay by a group of random...

    Tiny phantom power?

Hi, all. :) I have a lavalier mic (tiny clipon), but my Lumix GH1 doesn't provide enough power to it. Is there a tiny phantom power unit that will power the lav? I picture it shaped like this below, probably taking a single battery. I haven't been able to find one.

Does that make any sense? I never trusted...

    Batteries for field shoots?

Hi, all. :) What kinds of power-sources do you use for field shoots, aside from gas-powered genies, etc? (the forum search only seems to search for blog posts, so I couldn't find anything on this) I'm trying to figure out if there's some kind of smaller, quiet battery that can be used to power...

    An all-purpose mic?

Hi, all. First post. :) Does anyone know of a good mic (preferably no more than $200) that can be used on your computer, for voice-over work, AND hooked to a boom pole or camera, for use in the field? It would be nice if there was such a thing that could go into some kind of mic stand (like...
