I liked the writing style! Only advice, check to see if you're camera has a manuel setting and go with that. There were a few times that it autofocused or changed the brightness and it seemed distracting. Other than that, great!

For the price, it looks good. Looks like it has audio hook ups for a mic and a pull focus lens. Before you spend any money though, do your research and compare other camera in your price range. Remember that audio is as important as the video, so get something with audio input.

NBC's "Friday Night Lights" is a perfect is example for the documentary feel. I'm a background extra on it, and all of the shots are handheld to add more of a personal drama to it.
