I know nothing about directing movies but from what I've learned watching them. I plan on directing this movie one day, and would like to let you all know. Maybe even winning the oscar...
thank you for that well thought out response.. i've noticed you pretty much often respond to my posts with really really detailed responses, i like that lol.
your post pretty much summed up what i assumed.. now i know i'm going into film school for sure lol.. now i just gotta make sure i hustle...
i'm talking about those who actually went to film school and finished with a degree.. and went to hollywood, but didn't make it..
what can you do with that degree?
surely it could get you a job in something simiilar right? like a music video director or something? commercials?
i respect your opinion, but i STRONGLY disagree with it.
i'm only on page 70 of the screenwriter's bible, and i've learned SO MUCH about writing a screenplay already. i definitely have no regrets in buying this book... since you're a good writer, let me ask you... how did you become great? i...
still no progress with the script.. i don't have time right now to work on it, but i DO think about it everyday lol..

thanks.

to get better in writing screenplays, i was thinking...
i'd watch a movie (any) and then write a screenplay for it afterwards the way i interpreted the story. would that be a waste of time or would it help? i have this story in mind that i already started writing the treatment for, but i'm...
where can i learn about office talk? i'm finding it hard to write conversations on office talk between characters because i don't know anything about it. by office talk i mean like what business people in suits would be talking about. i plan on having my main character be that young kid that...
