Yeah, I'll have to see if they offer anything like this a little closer to home. I guess for a week long one I could make a little vacation out of it, but I don't think the fiance would like a 4 week long vacation, lol. Well, not with me going alone that is, lol.

Well, I know in the shows I watch, Ghosthunters, they film for roughly 8 hours a night. They arrive around 8 or 9 pm and leave around 3ish. It doesn't happen nearly as much as it shows on TV, but, it's like fishing, do you want to see an actual hour on the water where they don't catch...

I was thinking of taking workshops too, but I'm not sure if thats really gonna help at all. I know the NYFA has 1 week, 2 week, all the way up to 8 week workshops. It's not as expensive as full tuition, but I doubt I'd gain as much either. It might be a good way to get my feet wet and maybe...

Yeah, I am really thinking of going to school. I guess I don't need the NYFA, or UCLA, or something. It'd be nice, but I doubt I'd even get in anyways. Was kind of a slacker in HS, lol. I guess as long as I find a good school, I'd certainly benefit from it.

Forgive me for my complete novice question, but, I am just getting into filmmaking, and I have the entire CS3 suite, but I heard using a Mac was best for editing, effects, etc. Is that true, or should I take advantage of the Adobe CS3 suite and maybe invest in Vegas also?
