I'm using the canon 814 Auto zoom... I've had it for about 2 years now and have shot plenty of 64T through it. I'm trying to get back into shooting on film, but have some questions. My camera can only read up to 250ASA... I plan on using 500T as my primary film of choice (mostly indoors)...

Got my first roll back from the lab yesterday. I took a few test shots around work. I set the exposure to auto and really didn't mess with it much. Now i know a little bit better after seeing the results. I think I can decide when to keep on auto and when to adjust from my better judgment...

I have the canon 814 auto zoom and just put 2 rolls through it... i'm already in love with it.. I bought a super 8 book to help with the learning curve.. It did say the the XL serious was more for low light. Dont know if thats true.

no, not yet :-( Should be anytime now though. I did shoot a second roll yesterday when my wife and I went to NYC. It was a roll of 64T. I was able to see how the light meter reacted differently vs the the TRI-X. It was so crowded though it was very difficult for me to set up some nice shots...

I still plan on getting it... Does it sound a little off. It seems to adjust well when I moved the camera indoors or into the shade. I was a little surprised to see it almost closed a few times with the camera filter and the ND filter.

I ended up with a canon 814... Everything works as new and I found it for a pretty good deal. Today I went out and shot 50ft of TriX through it. I definitely had some of my questions asked through trial and error. I can see why people say it's a fast film. I had a .9ND filter on the end...

Not a problem... I've heard great things so i dont think i'll be taking their thoughts into consideration. Also, I've found out that the R8 take two wein cell 1.3V batteries. I dont think the guy that i bought the camera from is aware of this. I'll keep my fingers crossed. steve

that its not a (64T) camera, and that it will either underexpose or overexpose the film (cant remember which one). I'm new to all of this so it's an entire different language. any insight?
