    Iphone as sound recorder - anybody done this?

    Hello, I am considering using an iphone as a portable sound recorder. I would like to get a shotgun mic and or a lapel mic and connect it to the iphone. I have found adapters but am unsure of the quality. Has anybody done this? Thanks!
