The Honda or Yamaha "silenced" ones are phenomenal. They are extremely efficient, and very very quiet. Talking might be louder than some of them.

Used or refurbed t3i body paired with a used Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 is an affordable set up that should come $700-$750. I'm $716 into that exact set up.

It's really weird. The exposure locks and doesn't change when it's recording, but it doesn't even change once recording starts and it's not locked. Oh Nikon... Things like this make me wish I knew...
