Chromakey Cloth Outside

Do you guys ever encounter this problem where you can see through the green screen when outside in daylight?

Image from a google search demonstrates visually

And this is why you only buy a proper and authentic material for a green screen.

Does anyone else concur, the problem is the cloth is too thin ?

Yeah, it's thin. A lot of screens will come with a backing to help block the light. That usually works pretty well

Thanks guys. That was my suspicion, I bought a cloth that was too cheap.

I mean, you can try and pull a key from that but I think you'll have a much harder time than using a proper screen.

The popout ones are actually fairly affordable and are great for quick outdoor use

If it was really cheap: see how many layers you need. :p
