I'm currently a masters student researching into how motion graphics can be used as a tool to help immerse an audience into a film. Specifically how it can be used in anthology films to connect separate narratives due to the fact that because it is not a continuous story the audience is far more aware that it is a forced reality.
I wanted to gain some insight into what filmmakers thought about motion graphics and its use in film, such as title sequences, or more creative uses such as zombieland's integration of type, sin city's use of comic book style animation etc.
As a filmmaker what are your opinions? and on the other hand as an audience member?
