Thanks as usual. I'll just use the actual music tracks vs the feed. I'll use the hyper for reference and crowd sound effects, and see if I can slip the shotgun near the stage to get the taps .
It's been a while since I've been on here and I've come up with a small issue. I have a child's dance recital coming up that I'm gonna be shooting. Its both a personal project and it's something the owner wants to see since she is looking for new people. Last year I used a shotgun mounted to...
The canon 60d, 7d, 5dmkii, mkii all use the lp-e6 so no it wont work. There are plenty of batteries out there cheap make sure they are chipped. I've used this one with good results. http://astore.amazon.com/thenetfilmmak-20/detail/B003RRFWRY
I know the ones your talking about. The basic ones are about 300. Which made me remember Sony sells the drivers seperately someone with good soldering skills can make a pair on the cheap. I digress, so the sony's are a better bet? Although I will look into the audio technica ones too.
Out in the field the other day my current headphones stopped working leaving me stranded. I ended up finishing a shoot using iPod earbuds feeling like a dunce. I went around checking out a few different headphones and came down the sennheiser hd280 which they had in store and sounds great...
I Second the dr100 mkii it's amazing. At the moment it's the leader in its price range. You can see some samples on YouTube if you search thenetfilmmaker.
If you you needed to you can also run a cable from the line out to the 60d input. Just make sure it is attenuated. Also syncing sound is much easier than you think, most times can be done in under a minute even when not using software to help
Only problem ive encountered in the tests I've heard is that it suffers from the same sock in mouth sound of the azdens...but it is super hot (strong signal). As for the juiced link you would be happier in the long run with a tascam dr100 mkii or dr40 for less than the juiced link.
yeah the preamps are pretty bad unless you boost the signal quite a bit. I went through a lot of headaches cleaning and tweaking to get a usable sound until i upgraded to a tascam dr-100 mkii
Actually different Marshall as the amps, but the same Marshall as production monitors. I contacted them a while back for info on a short version of a shotgun mic that got scraped. They are very average mics not much better than an azden. That's at least with the samples I've heard.
It was the invision video or invision 7 with adapter, not the S system unfortunately. The base of my current mic holder has snapped. I just want something that is sturdy, reliable, and works.
Finally my current mic holder has took its final dying breath today. I'm in need of a new one capable of holding a decent sized mic, ie. rode ntg3/ mkh416, with softie. My current mic is about the same size and weight and plan on getting one of those once a few bills are paid. I would like to be...
