    "MIND - The Aftermath", a 20 minutes SCI-FI short

Hi there, Three years ago I made this account, lurked the forums for a month or so and finally made my first thread asking for advice on what equipment should I spend my money on. The goal at that time was to make a 10 minutes chase as my first short film ever. Here is the thread...

Could I have a budget this low for this type of movie?

Getting back on topic, if you have 1mil please don't use them all on your first movie. Make something smaller first. Gl in the future.

Best Way For A Zombie Film

If you make action zombie you have a lot less success to make it interesting. Killing zombies is not interesting to watch on the screen. You need to go the suspense/thriller way. That's where you can shine as a director even with an overused theme as it is with zombies.

I think it is easier to sit around if you know there is no boss behind you or your meal doesn't depend on what you write so keep this in...

The things you hate to see in Short films?

    - lack of pacing in the story - boring, long shots - really bad audio - not saying something worth hearing - over acting emotions - bad vfx - characters smoking and thinking deep while doing so
